WOC chose Paepae o Heeia for our 2019 annual fundraising campaign.  Employees volunteered two Saturdays in November and participated in a number of fundraising activities.  WOC presented a check for $10,000 to Hiilei Kawelo, Founder and Executive Director.   

WOC received the Engineering Excellence Grand Conceptor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies – Hawaii (ACECH) for the Kaneohe-Kailua Wastewater Conveyance & Treatment Facilities Project. WOC raised $10,134 between September 2018 – December 2018 for Hawaii Meals on Wheels.  A check was presented to Michelle Cordero-Lee, Chief Executive Officer and Brad Akamu, Volunteer Coordinator on January 22, 2019.  

On January 27, 2018, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Hawaii presented WOC with the 2018 Engineering Excellence Honor Award for International Market Place.  

As part of WOC’s 2017 fundraising for the Hawaiian Humane Society, employees volunteered at their facility in Moiliili.

After 3 months of various fundraising activities, WOC donates $10,000 to the Hawaiian Humane Society.  A check was presented to Mary Steiner, Acting Director of Development, Hawaiian Humane Society.  

WOC received the 2017 Project of the Year, Transportation >$75 Million Award from the American Public Works Association, Hawaii Chapter in November 2017.
