Hale Kewalo is an 11-story affordable housing project located at the corner of Piikoi Street and Kona Street. The project consists of approximately 128 residential units.
Civil engineering scope included the design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications for demolition, site water, sewer, and drainage systems. Improvements also included street frontage improvements along Kona and Piikoi Streets, offsite sewer connection to Waimanu Street, and traffic signal improvements at Kona Street and Piikoi Street.
The project team worked closely with adjacent development projects such as HART and the Ala Moana Center.
