Koa Ridge Traffic Impact Analysis Report and Comprehensive Transportation Master Plan

Koa Ridge by Castle & Cooke is a master planned community in Central Oahu, consisting of residential single-family and multi-family units, commercial areas, community land uses, and a variety of parks and other open spaces.

WOC prepared a Traffic Impact Analysis Report (TIAR) and Comprehensive Transportation Master Plan (CTMP).  The purpose of the TIAR is to identify and assess the traffic impacts resulting from the project.  The Comprehensive Transportation Master Plan (CTMP) defines the future transportation networks, including bike, pedestrian, and transit, related to the proposed Koa Ridge Makai Development.  The CTMP also identifies potential transportation management strategies that can be implemented to manage traffic demands along the surrounding roadways.  Complete street elements to be incorporated range from non-traditional on-street parking and loading zone layouts, parklets, bike corrals, median refuges, road diets, and traffic calming measures such as roundabouts, bulb-outs, pinch points, raised crossings, and other multi-modal features.

WOC continues to update the aforementioned documents as well as continues to provide traffic engineering consulting services throughout the region as the development progresses.
