The waterfront facilities at Sumay Cove underwent extensive “restoration and modernization.” Project elements included seawalls, marina facilities, boat ramps, piers, shoreline stabilization, restaurant restoration and water and fire protection upgrades.

An objective of the project design was to integrate sustainable strategies and features to conserve resources; and minimize adverse effects to the environment. The design and construction incorporated sustainable design strategies and features to the fullest extent possible, consistent with mission, budget and client requirements.
