WOC assessed the existing water system serving the State Department of Health properties at the top of Waimano Home Road in Pearl City. The water system, owned by the Department of Health (DOH) required upgrades prior to transferring system to the Board of Water Supply (BWS) standards in preparation of transferring the system to BWS.

Improvements to the system included the upgrade of 5,000 linear feet of transmission/distribution lines, upgrade of the existing well building and electrical system to meet BWS standards.  The project also included the renovation of the existing booster pump station building, paving of 1,150 linear feet of access driveway to the water tank and the installation of 23 fire hydrants, water meters and back-flow preventers.
