The project involves the replacement of an existing sewer line along Hart Street and Waiakamilo Street to Dillingham Boulevard. Due to upcoming changes with the installation of the Awa Street Wastewater Pump Station Force Main and Sewer System Improvements Waiakamilo Road Trunk Sewer project, the City intends to redirect flows and downsize the replacement sewer. Additionally, there will be sewer connection work on Nimitz Highway and at the Dillingham Boulevard-Waiakamilo Street intersection.
Project consists of installation of approximately 800 lineal feet of various sized sewerlines along Nimitz Highway, Waiakamilo Road, Dillingham Boulevard and Hart Street.
WOC also prepared and processed various permits, including a noise variance, NPDES Dewatering and Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit.
