Honolulu Rapid Transit City Center Utility Relocation

The City Center Section of the overall Honolulu Rapid Transit project is approximately 3.9 mile long, beginning from the vicinity of Dillingham Boulevard and Luamaka Street, along Dillingham Boulevard, to Kaaahi Street, transitioning across Iwieli Road to Nimitz Highway, continuing to Halekauwila Street, Queen Street, and Kona Street and terminating at Ala Moana Center.

This project entails utility relocations and roadway work in advance of the installation of the grade-separated fixed guideway rail transit system along the corridor.

WOC is responsible for developing and preparing a Transportation Management Plan and site-specific memoranda for the project and specific locations which includes traffic data collection, traffic analysis and simulation, and identification of traffic management strategies for implementation during construction.
