The PMRF Power Grid Consolidation project consolidates the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Barking Sands electrical power distribution systems by connecting three of the four independent systems into one continuous Navy operated electrical distribution system. The integration of these grids will require replacing portions of the existing electrical infrastructure with new backbone distribution system and service laterals with larger conductor sizes and underground duct bank/manholes.
