WOC provided transportation engineering services for crosswalk improvements at Queen Street and Waimanu Street (mauka of South Shore Market and Kolowalu Park). The pedestrian crossing was unsignalized and heavily used by area residents. WOC prepared construction plan for a permanent Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), electrical services connection to the system and raised concrete island median.
